ISOFOM Young Artists Program

July 6 - 26
Le Nozze di Figaro and La Bohème

The festival will be dedicated to these two staples of the operatic repertoire, with a focus on role study and preparation. These two operas contain several great roles which will be useful for the careers of numerous young singers, and they also provide a guideline for the study of other Mozart and Puccini operas. Participants can choose to study up to two roles in total.
It will also be possible to work on other repertoire during the individual voice lessons, coachings, and in some of the masterclasses.
Students will perform in one masterclass with Ailyn Pérez, in at least one masterclass with another guest artist, and will be listeners in the rest:

Students that sign up for the full program will have the option to sign up for a personalized orchestral recording of any aria of their choice (not necessarily from Le Nozze di Figaro or La Bohème).
An orchestra will be put together virtually to record the requested aria, conducted by maestro Abdiel Vázquez and tailored to each performer (tempi, nuance, etc.). The track will be provided to the student, who will in turn provide us with their own recording of themselves singing over this track. A final edited video will then be sent to them for their own use: auditions, press material, social media, etc.
